Learn principles & hands-on basics of round pole framing for small structures. Tour thatched roofs & round pole structures on site, harvest wood, use hand tools ~ making a mallet to take home plus a small team project using several types of notching. Bring a bag lunch. Includes on-line handouts.  Instructor: Deanne Bednar has designed and co-built small round-wood structures on site using both notching & lashing techniques. Support from Brita Anderson, carpenter from Ontario.  January 20 & 21, 2018 Sat 10 – 5, Sun 10 – 4p

$100 if prepaid 2 wks in advance, or $120 thereafter, with RSVP, if there is room.  Supper, overnight accommodations and breakfast just $10 extra. Some worktrade scholarships available. Class Limited to 12 participants – sign up soon 🙂
