The Great Lakes Herb Faire, held outside Chelsea Michigan, hosts many herbal presenters, classes and things to buy !
This wonderful family-friendly annual gathering also includes many children !  Many  of the young people have come year after year, and have gotten to each other and the land very well.  They can climb the grandmother tree, roam the woods and play to their hearts’ content.

Kelly Theide and I (Deanne) will be be leading a “Twigloo”  activity…. providing sticks and wild plants, ropes and such, so the kids can co-create, in small groups, their own little stick tipi….

I can’t say we will be “teaching”….because last year the kids just jumped in and made it happen !!  A little supervision for stability, and some “Y” poles for support….and a number of nifty constructions came into being, for the enjoyment of all during the the Faire.
