We started the day with a LEARNING TOUR with 9 awesome folks from different backgrounds, coming to grow their connection with nature & learn! Some are doing farming, urban community-building, permaculture, the arts. geology, having land where they would like to build! I love networking & getting to see the love and energy we can apply to life, and weave:) Together we toured the Strawbale Studio, The Hobbit Sauna, saw the Rocket Stove Heated Bench, and so much more. Questions were asked! Yay!
Many stayed on for lunch and the CANDLE & CRAFTING CLASS in the afternoon, joined by others for a group of 10, and folks enjoyed the flow of candle-making, sculpting & decorating with earth and nature materials! Lots of experimenting with spiral candle, tiny candles, woven ones and even sculpted candles from warm, semi solid wax! Plus beautiful candle-stick holders and sculptures were shaped and decorated with texture and nature items. Mellow, creative, sweet.
