Frank & Katie and others assisted in leading a wonderful Earth Sculpting Activity “Learnshop” at Great Lakes Bioneers Detroit Conference!
We mixed local subsoil of sand and clay from Strawbale Studio land on tarps in the Dining Hall at University of Detroit Mercy.
Students from several schools attended and we had a great time. They were creative and engaged! Yay!
Youth also went on Tours including a visit to a permaculture household where EN showed us many projects from making chairs and brooms to growing native plants on the streetside! What a wonderful, meaningful, connecting time. Great Lakes Bioneers Detroit ~ an annual event.
